So many issues face us. Primary Issues we can and will tackle legislation to make our district’s communities a better place to live, work, and prosper.
Education & Our Youth
***We will fight for long-term funding for our educational institutions: pre-K to 12th grades, community colleges, and after-school programs
*** We will fight to increase school counseling resources to improve the overall health of our students and their families who may have medical issues stemming from the pandemic
*** We will support legislation that provides student loan debt forgiveness
Housing, Farming, Agricultural Development
*** We will work to increase economic support and incentives for new farmers in their first two years of business
*** We will write and support legislation that Increase funding for agricultural programs that are dedicated to helping our farmers grow their crops and offset the rising cost of fuel, food, and fertilizers
*** We will work to increase economic development in our district by increasing funding for agricultural manufacturing
Community Growth & Development
*** We will work with local officials to present legislation that will provide affordable housing solutions to counter the housing crisis that's plaguing our district and other counties in rural Georgia
*** We will fight to provide workforce solutions that collaborates,and improve employer- employee relations which will create a more qualified and dependable workforce
Public Health, Safety, Regulation, and Fair Treatment And Trades
*** We will vote for any policy that provides consumer and environmental protections
*** We will vote "yes" to any policy that provides public safety, protects against gun violence while at the same time protect our 2nd amendment rights
***We will vote "yes" to policies that provide protections for our roads, schools, parks and libraries
